Ho'oponopono is an ancient Hawaiian healing technique that assists in clearing karma surrounding a person, situation, event, or emotional pattern. It works by clearing away Aka cords, or energy cords, that connect the individual to the past energy in question. The process in this healing involves the Physical Self (known as the Uhane), Emotional Self (known as the Unihipili) and Spiritual Self (known as the Aumakua), along with the energy of the Divine Creator. When you read about Ho’oponopono you will find that the process is usually described as using the phrases, “I’m sorry, Please forgive me. Thank you. I love you” to clear energies. It is a spiritual practice that involves learning to heal all things by accepting total responsibility for everything that surrounds us. However, this Ho’oponopono Healing is deeper and much more involved than the phrases that are listed above. Morrnah Nalamaku Simeona was a beautiful teacher in the Huna Tradition. The word “huna" is the Hawaiian word for secret. Through her meditation she received the words for the Ancient Huna Ho’oponopono Pule, or prayer.
